Any news? I heard Smith was fight some guy who lost his last 4 fights but has this been confirmed? Not heard anything about Campbell
smith fighting a mexican unbeaten in 5 but opponents have been terrible this is a showcase fight and wouldnt expect anything else campbell boing a american 13-30 but been in with some good operators mikey garcia ect and even holds a ko win against raymond beltran, again this is a showcase fight just to get their names out in america so i wouldnt go judging too much as we know campbell will fight briezela in hull oct 25th so thats when the real step up begins
yeah campbell maybe out in germany on the paul smith card, this is just purley to get them expose in the u.s.
Not bad opponents for them. You just have to look at Wilder who has had over 30 fights and he's fighting somebody who has a record of 25-16.
I think this is the first time I've seen everyone saying the opponents are ok for a young up and coming fight. Surprisingly positive. Well done haha
Well,Smiths opponent looks woeful. I would have hoped he would have boxed somebody near enough to the standard of Biosse,his last opponent. Apparently Andre Dirrell stopped Biosse lately,which puts things in perspective a bit,though I always rated Andre above his brother. Plus Smith is only a young boxer. Campbells opposition hasn't been much to say he's a gold medallist,so didn't expect a massive jump up,though should be a little bit if his next one was to be Brizuela. TBH I didn't expect 3 British boxers on this bill and still don't,really. The real bummer would be if the one out is Brook.
