This is where I stand on the entire thing. Perhaps he did see spots in his eye, but he does blame everybody else but himself for his career's shortcomings. His entire career has indicated that. He ain't a superstar because he allowed himself to be knocked out by Peden, he failed to make weight consequently losing all of his earned titles, and then he bows out of an important bout without so much as a fight. Like Freddy says, it's the way Campbell goes about things. I just want to see cats fight, not play spokesperson.

Knockouts happen. Nate came all the way back. If the man could not make weight, and he is like 37 or 38, and he feels he has to relinquish his titles, that is not a discipline problem, but a natural problem he could not over come. Nate has come all the way back to the top after the losses to Peden. It is his mouth which fans don't like. I don't let what fighter say affect me. What you do in the ring counts, and Nate had a legit excuse when he got butted in the eye. We can be suspicious all we want, but we did not feel the butt, nor have Campbell's vision after the butt.

Why bring up his past actions? This is an isolated incident. I think it's ridiculous to say that he didn't deserve the fight to be changed to a No Contest because of some **** he spoke a while ago.

Why are people mentioning Robbie Peden? What does he have to do with this incident? People are acting like every stupid thing Campbell has ever done has an effect on this matter. It doesn't.

Seems to me that there is no rematch clause in the contract, which is why Nate was begging for a rematch when the fight was over. I doubt they will fight again. LIke I said before if Nate wants to fight Tim now he needs to go to the back of the line and try to work his way up.

It bitching really rubbed me the wrong way seeing that Tim didn't have to fight his old ass but did so at the loss of one of his belts and Nate has the audacity to act like Tim owes him something. **** Nate.

If Nate can beat Maidana or Khans, Bailey or URango, or Alexander, hell I'll throw in Vic Ortiz then maybe he can get a shot at Tim again, but he blew his chance with his actions after the fight.

Quiting when you are seeing spots from the damage caused by a head butt is.

I had believe the head butt caused it and so does the commission.

At the time i wanted this to be ruled a NC, but seeing other fighters cuts compared to Campbell's .. It don't even compare. Bring on the rematch, it would just be another easy payday for Bradley.

It wasn't about a cut. You couldn't see the extent of the injury.

campbell quit. I used to like him but any fighter that looks at the ref and says "I cant see" immediately loses all my respect

Rahman did it against Toney last year, in the 3rd round Toney was countering Rahman with ease and as I predicted before the fight, would stop Rahman that night. Haseem knew he was going to lose, and practically told the ref to stop the fight, it was ruled a stoppage win for Toney and later called a no-contest.

I got my money on campbell in case there is a rematch. The only punch that hurt campbell in that fight was the headbutt. What amazes me is people seem to think that bradley will just walk all over campbell for 12 rounds. Please, lil timothy is the gorified version of juan diaz at 140. Come forward and throw a thousand "punches". He never did hurt nate. Nate could've definitely adjusted to his game and make him eat punches.

Nate was stunned by punches that Bradley threw, it is crazy to deny that. As for the assertion that Bradley can't punch, BS. Look at Witter and Holt, they both were stunned by Bradley in their fights. Now Tim isn't a 1-punch KO artist but the notion that he has no power is crazy in my eyes. Comparing him to Juan Diaz in my opinion is bogus, Tim is faster, quicker, stronger, has way better defense, and better technique than Juan Diaz. I'd call Tim a mini-Holyfield.
