What happened with Nate? Similar kind of thing that happened to Guzman, metabolism just shutting down?

    Is he OK?

Also, do you know if both belts are on the line for Funeka, or is it just the IBF?

Hopefully this won't affect Nate that much. How is he doing?

Here's what I'm wondering. If Nate "lost" his belts BEFORE the fiight, would sanctioning fees still be able to be taken from his check? We know he had to do Bankruptcy, and didn't he have 3 belts? If by "tossing" the belts, he don't have to pay for their fee, then he might be pulling something a hell of a lot smarter than it first appeared.:yep

Pimp, you know about the rules to this??

Physically he is fine. He's obviously very disappointed that his body did not cooperate with him and shed the last 2.5 pounds. And there will be no future attempts to make 135, despite the offers (which are already coming in) because Nate now knows that his body cannot make 135 anymore. He is moving to 140 in his next fight.

Nate vacated the WBA a few weeks back, so there will be no WBA fees. He will still pay his IBF and WBO fees, because they are still sanctioning the fight, and Nate will want to be put into their 140 rankings.

Nate's at the stage of his career where he's looking for the big paydays and I wonder if he can get bigger payday fighting at 140 than at 135. Outside of Hatton and Pac there really are no big names at 140 where as 135 offers a plethora of options that aren't as lucrative as those two but are better than the rest of the 140 field.

He was lined up to fight Hatton had the Pac fight fallen through - which looked likely for quite a while.

    Perhaps he lost his focus.

That's good I think he can have real sucess at 140. It's a hot divison again after being down for a while. I see a lot of options of Nate there.

LOL. Great ****ing avatar. I own that Program, I was at the Thomas and Mack in July of 1997 for that one. Also have the poster, and my two tickets in a frame. Poor Johnny, though he is back in the slammer.

No super huge names other than the 2 you mentioned maybe, but there are some excellent fights to be made from Bradley, Kotelnik, Urango, Berto (if he does, in fact move down), Judah (same as Berto), etc.

:think...Thank you, sir. I was just thinking to try to make sense out of his missing weight. If the fees are taken regardless, then that's out the window for sure.
