so if you dont consider guzman "established" then i guess in your book, it wont be a good win if campbell beats him? guzman won about 9 rounds against barrios. shouldnt have been a sd.
Well, I do give Don credit for what he does. He is not the same person he used to be 20 years ago, even though you can't change completely from what you were, and lately he seemed to honor his engagements with fighters. King ain't that bad of a promoter in the end when you see the others. At least as long as the fighters under his wings succeed in their career.
starting doesn't come in to it, he always was, and always will be. well, i have to get of, exam in the morning, so i'll leave you with a prediction. Guzman RD 11 TKO after a total anialation of campbell.
I consider Guzman "established" at lower weights (122,126,130). I don't consider him established as a lightweight yet, obvioulsy because he's never fought at lightweight before. The same way I won't consider Pac an established lightweight until after June 28. My main arguement was for that other poster to claim Guzman is "established", but Nate was not. That's just silly, and that was the purpose of the comparison. Any win over an undefeated champion is definitely a "great win". But in my own honest opinion, I'm just not that high on Guzman. He has very good skills, but can't crack an egg. I've just never really cared for that type fighter. And when Nate beats him, there are already alot of built-in excuses for Nate to not get any credit for it, so on it's face the fight is somewhat of a lose-lose situation for us. But it definitely shows that Nate will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. But thats my own personal opinion. I do have alot of respect for Joan's speed and skills though, and Nate's preperation for the fight will definitely reflect that.
I belive the only thing that could get in the way of Pac-Campbell would be Pac-Hatton. An no way Casa beats JMM. No way on this earth.
okay, i get your points. as a guzman fan, by no means do i think guzman will have an easy time. campbell should be the favorite.
well, one other thing could stop it, and that's David Diaz. Pac-Diaz is no walkover for Pac. Although I'm hoping for a Pac win, I sure wouldn't be shocked if David pulled it off.
This is the type of Fight's I like... Two Fighter's I'm not the biggest fans of, Taking eachother out. & helping clear out the division to boot.
im pulling for Guzman to out box him in this, I think he could be something great. Dissapointed in Casa's decision, has he def secured the Marquez fight?
I think Guzman has all the tools to beat Campbell, however Nate shocked me and many others again Diaz so I think this would be a very competitive fight. Guzman by close UD.
