Guzman's victory over Barrios was "close" to say the least.

    I just ****i'n love this. :yep :D

Guzman takes Campbell's belt. JMM takes Casa's belt. Then Pac takes Diaz' belt.

After all the unfinish business at 130 . . . Guzman, JMM and Pac will be the figures fighting it out at 135.

    :happy :happy :happy :happy

I really hope Nate wins this fight. I have become a huge Nate fan based on not only his ring performances but also his words. He really speaks from the heart and cuts thru all the BS, and he takes the tough fights, for real. The fact that he is going to take on Guzman is yet again more proof of that.

Nothing against Guzman really, I just hope Nate does it again in sensational fashion so his attitude and words stay in the forefront of boxing.

I know you are rooting for Nate . . . even if Guzman loses to nate . . . a Pac/Nate fight would still be an outstanding fight. :yep

Great work Onepunch on getting this fight perfect fight for Nate as even though Guzman is a better technician i doubt he will be able to handle such a big Lightweight that is a Pressure type fighter.

Campbell is going to win this and im not talking UD.

    Can you say KO.

Agreed.. Guzman is a good fighter and a top contender, but he's being way hyped.. I see a good, close fight going all 12 rounds.. Not sure on who the victor would be, but I can't wait for it either.. No doubt the lightweight division is producing the best fights this year.. Should be a lot of hype goin' into this fight as well with all the **** talkin' both fighters are dishing out.. Props to both of these guys for wanting to fight the best and soon.. A much more exciting fight than Casa/JMM IMO..

if guzman was that good, he would've shut out barrios and not engaged in a close fight with him. he should've not tired against soto when the action wasn't even intense.
i have a feeling campbell wouldn't be one of the slow plodding opponents guzman had danced with in the ring. he is a more solid fighter with intact skills. guzman's skills looks good only for showing off. his foot and head movement doesn't come fluidly with his punches. its like he applies each of them one at a time but not together and campbell can exploit that to a decision victory.

this is insane. how the hell can guzman TKO anyone weighing at 135 with his average power. and talk about annihilation, with what? potslaps for the whole 12 rounds? :rofl his potslaps aren't even that good, he doesn't possess the laser shots that mayweather brings. and when he unloads his real punches, he needed to stop moving so he can sit on them. he lacks the fluidity of a real sweet boxer. campbell would have a sweet night owning him. :yep

i have a question to onepunch.net. is it really nate who writes his press releases or someone from donking promotions write them for him?:thumbsup

This should be an excellent fight. Hopefully Nate can bring the form he found against Diaz into this one.

most of the actual "press releases" come from me, and some from DKP. The things that Nate writes I don't classify as "press releases", because they are more of his "opinions" rather than a typical news item you would send out in a standard press release.

Anything identified as having been written by Nate is in fact written 100% by Nate. What happens is that he calls me and dictates everything over the phone, and I email it out to the media outlets. Sometimes the process can be funny. He'll call, and he'll be like "hey T, go to the computer". And if I tell him I'm busy, he's like "cmon man, get this sh*t down while its still fresh!". I remember after he read the Shaeffer piece on Btalk, he went completely off. He had just finished running, and called me at like 6:45 in the morning. I'm like "f*ck off man, call me in a few hours". He wasnt having it. He called me like 7 times in a row until I got up. He's like "you wont believe what this mother f*cker said. Write this sh*t down". And that's pretty much how it goes.

I don't "edit" his words at all. The only thing I do is occasionally when he is REALLY fired up about something, he tends to use too much profanity. In those instances, I just suggest other words that are more suitable for print.
