Its hard not to like Nate Campbell, he's entertaining in and out of the ring. He and Guzman is a good fight and this was the fight I hoped he'd land. I'm not sure who to pick. Guzman is moving up again against a Campbell who is very comfortable at that weight. But Nate's age keeps sticking in my mind. He's at the age where he should be slowing down and I get the feeling when he does it will have the appearence of "happening overnight". Good fight though.

    pac-diaz
    guzman-campbell
    jmm-casa

what is this the 130 lb invasion?:huh

and onepunch i have a question for you, how do you think that there is no way of casa winning against jmm?

and do you promote any other fighter other than campbell?

Honestly, personal distaste aside, I've just never been all that impressed with Casa. If you really look at it, in his absolute prime he won a very close decision five years ago over a pretty green Nate, won against Corrales on cuts, and decisioned an overweight and unmotivated Corrales, as the middle bout of Diego's final 3 fight losing streak. Other than that, he has no really remarkable wins. I just don't see what the fuss is about. Aside from the Katsidis fight, his fights are not even remotely entertaining (at least not to me). Sure, his constant headbutts and elbows are somewhat amusing at times, but on the whole I just don't think he's all that. Marquez is technically superior to him in every catagory, and is the more solid, well rounded fighter. The ONLY thing working in Casa's favor here is that JMM is moving up in weight, and nobody knows yet how effective he might be at 135.

I do work with other fighters, but none are as well known as Nate.

thanks for the honest opinion, i would be rooting for nate btw, guzman is good and slick but since he move up in weights he lose his power, but the slickness is still there enough to frustrate and outbox fighters to a UD, especially when floyd sr. is in his corner.

i honestly would like to see a pac-campbell match in the near future so i do hope he wins against guzman

Glad to know this fight is ready. Makes sense. Guzman should beat Campbell and leaves room for Marquez-Casamayor and Diaz-Katsidis. Then we'll see if Pacquiao and Arum will have the balls to fight the winners of these bouts.

Would have liked to seen Campbell vs Casamayor for the sake of unification. Yet this is clearly a top fight. Glad to see it happen. :good

Gonna think about the fight a bit:yep Campbell is certainly motivated. His lifes changing as are the finances so I dont expect overconfidence.

Guzman? Step up time:good He's slick enough to win rounds but will he handle Campbells pressure?

    I'm certainly intrigued:yep

That sucks that Campbell probably won't get his payday ...

I think Guzman might be a bit too fast for Campbell ... I don't know if Campbell can come into that fight with a strategy.

I'm sure that Guzman will be granted that fight since he was the WBO champion at super featherweight.

Guzman will most likely win a decision, but I'm rooting for the Dominican to KO Campbell.

Guzman hasn't had a knockout since over four years ago and two weight classes ago. Don't count on it buddy. I predict Campbell to stop Guzman in the 9th.

actually, Nate will earn more money for the Guzman fight than he would have for Casa. If it goes to purse bid, its a 75/25 split Nates way. Guzman's people are well aware of this, and I'm confident we will work out a deal without it having to go to bid.
