If there was any goodwill left for Soup Hatton after Sat, that is totally gone reading this shyte. Blue Moon will soon enough be replaced by Tears Soon
Is there anyone on here who can make any case for Hatton winning on Saturday? The arrogance and ignorance is astonishing.
Good point, I've not seen a single person even say Campbell was worthy of a draw.. not one. I've scrolled through twitter, even trolls didn't bother with this one, they knew they would look ridiculous even jokingly making a case for Hatton. The only people who "believe" Campbell won was Campbell himself, maybe his Father and Uncle.. I've not seen any interview with Ricky or Matt yet, so it will be interesting what they say if they get their faces in front of a camera. They do before fights, have done after fights but this time they have vanished.
Talks about genuine fans but how about a genuine fighter robbed of a victory because he fought someone with a famous dad?
Eddie Hearn had the opportunity to showcase some fighters with actual talent on last weekend PPV. Instead we got two overmatched joke fights and Campbell Hatton. It screams **** promotion to me in the long run, why is he trying to develop Hatton into some PPV star, when he could be doing it with someone who actually has talent.
I didn't see the Hatton fight so I'm probably your best bet. I imagine he used his Usyk level ring IQ to start out slowly behind a probing jab, throwing feints and using clever footwork to work for his openings. As the openings came more and more as his opponent (a genuine top 10 talent) tired, I assume young Hatton put his foot on the gas, went through the gears and was close to stopping his opponent when the final bell rang. Not getting the KO is a slight down point, but the winning, and accurate, 60-52 scorecard from Marcus "Professional" McDonnell was a nice silver lining. I'd guess pops and Eddie Hearn's comments post fight were on the point, complimentary, yet restrained. We all know the pound for pound talent master Hatton has, but we don't want to get a head of ourselves. PPV will have to wait until 2022 for the young, feisty buck.
It’s good to see that so many people are outraged by the decision on social media. People just want fighters to get a fair crack, no matter where they’re from, Martinez was robbed on Saturday and if the Hatton’s don’t want to admit that then that’s a stain on them
Daddy Hatton acts like he is Manny & Mayweather level, he got destroyed by both, his son is a bum who will be selling fruit & veg from a stall in Manchester next year.
