I have never boxed and dksab so bare with me but whist watching Campbell's fight I noticed in the first few seconds he through a lighting fast jab as he jumped out of range and the first knockdown he throught that hook on the way out. This is some that I haven't seen much from the British fighters but seeing him do it gave me a allot of confidence that he wouldn't get caught getting out like so many fighters do who box with that upright style. Could some one tell me if this in an armature trait or just something some fighters can do?

I also think if David price could do it he would benefit greatly allowing him to keep a good range

This is a skill in its self which not alot of fighters can pull off and of thoses who can its usually a tool used to fend the oponent off while getting out of range but like can throw it with venom and hurt the oponent

obviously power in shots usualy comes from the leverage in the foward movent of the legs and hips which is why punching on the back foot is difficult i believe he dropped nevin a simular way

its all hand to feet co ordination and very good balance

Mayweather is the absolute master at this skill set imo.

Yes i think with the in and out footwork this punch has become more evident over the years IMO. The Mayweather check hook is more of setting a trap by edging backwards and pivoting off the hook.
