"As a fan De La Hoya/Pacquiao is the worst possible fight that could have been made. How do you expect this little guy to beat this big guy? I bought alot of PPV's. I made De La Hoya very rich. This is what I want back, not because as a fighter I'm upset, no, because as a fan I want to see him fight Margarito. I really wanted to see that. You may think it's me talking **** but it's not. It's just me telling the truth.

The biggest fight in boxing that could have been made was Margarito/De La Hoya. That was the biggest fight, that could have been the fight of the year. Even if De La Hoya got smashed, it would have been the fight of the year for the fans. Give us something back on the way out the door. Unlike the way that you came into the game - you beat up on old Chavez, but you don't want to give the next guy his due. De La Hoya beat up on the old man twice. The (Mexican fans) will never like him, and they're going to hate him even worse."

    PMS, Nate?

    Bitchy today, arent ya? :yep

Seriously, he's correct. Margarito/Cotto vs Oscar would have been a better farewell fight for Dela Hoya.

"The fans" are not one group of people with the same opinion.

Some fans like him, some fans don't. Oscar understands this, and just does what he wants to do, because his legacy is already established and he has earned the right to beat up on little people.

Nate is in deep sour graping for missing a chance vs Packy. Should Pac win this fight, a big boost to his confidence to face Hatton. Nate's chance for a bigger payday is dimming.

That is SO true...........Oscar is such a ***** and conning......

His legacy is BASED on beating a washed up Chavez, but doesn't return the favor and fight a young lion of his size:patsch :-(

De La Hoya-Margarito would have been HUGE. And it's winnable for Oscar because Margo isn't particularly fast or agile, he's a puncher. Those are the types of fighters DLH does well against. Vargas, Tito, Mayorga, etc. But Oscar has hinted that this may not be his last fight, so maybe we'll see this fight next year.

    Nate's in rare form today.

I kinda like when Nate runs his mouth. It's like for once you actually get a boxer who seems to have a small idea of reality.

I would have much rather seen Margo-DLH and Hatton-Pac but the golden boy gets what he wants, and what it didnt want was to be stomped into the ground by Margo in his last fight

Yep, **** Gay La Hoya for that one. That's a blown true classic right there. Pacquiao is going to pay, somehow, for his greed and ambition by taking this GLH fight. I'd like to see Manny win, but it's best for everyone if he gets knocked out easily and both of them look like ****ing idiots and everyone who goes live and buys the PPV is extremely angry and feel ripped off. That's ideal.

ODLH doesn't even deserve a shot at Margo
