Im surprised theres no talk about this upcoming fight.

Its going to be a good one, Nate is coming off an almost 1 year layoff off from his dominant win over baby bull and Funeka is coming off from a great performance of destroying Raheem.

I know most will say Campbell wins easy (I hope) but that is mainly due to the lack of exposure Funeka has, most here probably havent seen him fight, but let me tell you, Funeka has mad dangerous power.

I see 2 things happening this saturday night,

Campbell beats Funeka and gets little credit for it but the hype for Campbell v JMM begins.

    or

Funeka destroys Campbell quickly and a new star is born in the lightweight division.

    Who wins and why?

Well, I think Funeka is a really unknown fighter. Probably not too many have seen him fight, since all of his 31 fights have been in South Africa.

Campbell is coming off a completely one sided beat down of Juan Diaz. I imagine he would of liked to of got a bigger name opponent and payday to capitalize on his big win.

The only name I reconize is Zahir Raheem on Funeka's record. He won by KO 4 which a really impressive result. So he may be dangerous.

Nobody is talking about this fight because nobody knows who the hell Funeka is. You look at his record and you see an impressive win vs Raheem but you also see and very sad lose to Fana.

I think that this fight is all about Campbell, who I believe is 36 or 37 years old...And at that age you never really know what will show up..

Dude says he's stayed in good shape the whole time, I hope so.
Funeka is a fighter whos resume doen't reflect how good he is.

Normally I'd agree with you, but he's only been pro 8 years.

I'm going with Nate, even though Funeka's relatively unknown.

All I can say with regards to Funeka is that we know he's tall and hits relatively hard, or so we think with his KO4 win over Zahir Raheem.

But he was taken to a MD by that Yakubu guy who recently got knocked out by feahter-fisted Ricky Burns.

And that clearly wasn't the version of Raheem we're used to seeing.
