Can anyone explain how tf Ray Denesco scored round 2 a 10-9? Do we need any more evidence of the corruption that De La Hoya is inflicting and will continue to do so on the sport? It's getting to the point that even long standing scoring conventions will be broken in the pursuit of giving the Golden Boy fighter as much as possible. I suppose we're lucky Adelaide Byrd wasn't judging - remember the GGG-Canelo draw, Floyd only getting MD vs Canelo after schooling him?

I noticed that as well. Ban him from judging.

Did he give every other round to Garcia too? I gave Campbell the 4th in addition to the 2nd by 10-8, which I think was clear as did the British journo covering the fight.

You have to ban these corrupt judges from the sport, otherwise they will continue to be involved in robberies

I believe he did, no surprise. I gave Campbell 2,3 and 4. I find myself disliking Garcia, and throne etc aside it's perhaps not even his fault but De La Hoya's, pushing his fighter at the expense of the sport. Similar with Canelo - I should enjoy watching a great but after the scorecard and Mexican beef stuff I find myself waiting (praying) for the day he loses again.

Out of curiosity Is there any rule that states it has to be a 10-8 when a knockdown is scored?

If the dropped fighter wins the round desisevely. He can turn the score to a 10-9. I don't think Garcia did enough to prevent a 10-8 score.

I did think that Garcia recovered well from the knock down, but the rest of the round after the knockdown was even. So it was a 10-8 round.

Yeah, most of the time the dropped fighter needs to dominate at some point during that round.

I always thought (perhaps mistakenly) that if a dropped fighter gets up and then takes the round then its scored 9-9 as a point in deducted for the knockdown?

    10-9

9-9 is in the event of a point deduction for a foul

That's pretty crazy. There's no way Garcia did nearly enough to make it 10-9.
