GGG gets credit from me because he did exactly what he was supposed to do and in the time he was supposed to do it.
Jacobs knew he had to cheat on the weight to keep from getting knocked out, but ye was still knocked down, out boxed, out jabbed, staggered late in the fight with a left jab. Jacobs ran like hell! Golovkin said he would fight the winner of Charlo and Jacobs. Charlo just beat a cripple and Pee Wee Herman, Jacobs beat a jr. middleweight and was almost beaten, got his a lot..................Vanes knocked Andrade down, he beat Charlo, gave Lara hell, yet Golovkin knocked him out in 2 rounds!
Every fighter cuts weight , that doesn't make one a bully. Jacobs has never struggled to make middle weight. A bully is somebody like GGG who tried to defend all of his belts against a 147 lbs kid from Mexico nobody ever heard of. Using his training camp for a top p4p level fighter to batter a retired 154 pound boxer is the behavior of a pure cowardly bully since he didn't have to bottle to fight guys his own size from his own division.
Don't think they were looking for credit, just a keep busy fight to keep the ring rust at bay...all good. Hey GK, GGG is great ain't he bro...
Not much credit for ggg to get from this terrible cherry picking. Obviously he doesn't believe he can truly clean out the middleweight division or he'd try to. Busy pretending to tie Hopkin's record in the most bogus way counting WBA regular title defenses which isn't the real championship belt with no shame.
I agree. I just hate watching ring rusted opponents get wiped out. I know Vanes is capable of much more than what he showed
Jacobs has a SMW frame to him..... I suggest studying a bit of basic physiology to understand how certain fighters can be "huge" for there weight class yet still make weight comfortably.
