Can’t see any heavyweight taking a left hook like that without at least getting dropped. Lethal asf.

Beating three contenders is cleaning out your division? No, beating Johnson, Gvozdyk and Bivol would not make Beterbeiv an ATG. What more? Maybe beat some better fighters. Maybe 7/8 title defences to go with it? ATGs isn't something everyone in every era can become, if there's poor competition in his division, then that's tough luck. And there isn't poor competition, but beating three top fighters certainly isn't enough to call himself an ATG. Especially when all three are pretty unaccomplished in the grand scheme of things.

And unifying doesn't make you an ATG. Not in any sense.

Most pro boxers have enough juice to lay someone out with a hook if their opponent doesn't see it coming.

Hell give me a clean shot and I'm pretty sure I could drop most with my hook as well

I take no joy in ridiculing my fellow man, no matter how ignorant or stupid. Let this be a lesson in treating others with a little more compassion.

Fair. I would probably put Beterbiev in the top 20-30 with confidence without any thinking if he beats Bivol. LHW has a very rich and long history. Beterbievs true potential for greatness lies in his likely future move to CW(which I said in that thread when arguing with that idiot) Much of what I said was speculative anyways. We'll see how it all plays out. The clock is ticking but if politics and age don't derail things we have a potential for some truly great fights at 175 and CW involving Beterbiev.

Fury took a monster left hook from Wilder the moment he got up in round 12 and didn't even wobble

He also took a massive left hook off Cunningham after he got up.

Then tore back into them like they'd stole some of his brain cells

Projection at its finest lol. You’re definitely one of the more emotional posters I’ve encountered here.

He quit versus Ruiz Jr. laying on the ropes looking disinterested. He quit boxing, mentally at least, prior to that to become an Instagram muscle model which cost him his belts. He mentioned it because it is relevant.

As EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. in this thread has already told you, it’s easy to throw beautiful hooks against the pads in Twitter video. Harder when the person you’re facing isn’t standing still holding pads.

As to your point, I ask, has Joshua ever landed one of these left hooks in a fight against elite competition and knocked them out cold because as you say they are and I quote “lethal asf”?

Uppercut against Wlad and Whyte. He landed one at the end on Povetkin after three right hands and the left hook didn’t drop him, he needed the right to follow up.

You’re a fan, we get it. Don’t let that cloud the facts.

Imagine any heavyweight's head in the place of that ball.

This video is faker than my micro penus.

conveniently out of shot for CGI ball then out of shot again for the landing with real ball.

Fool. You're just jealous because Tyson Fury could be punching balls every day and twice on Sunday and still not punch it that far.

Even you have to admit even if it was inadvertent Fury rolled with wilders hook which took a little of the edge off. I still think fury is the only one in the division with the balls to get back up but I don't think he caught the full force of Wilder in either fight. All due credit to fury he sees everything coming and knows how to angle his body to minimize impact
