I was looking at the 2004 Lewis fight against Vitali, he was definitely shot and past it, but he still looked much better then everyone fighting today other then Wlad. I was curious what you guys think, can a 2004 old Lewis clean out today's HW Division outside of Wlad?
I don't think he was shot, just out of shape, ad he was against Rahman first time round. That happens when you're preparing for a fighter of Kirk Johnson's calibre and end up fighting Vitali. When Wlad looked to clinch Lennox might well pull that uppercut put of his arse. Doubt Wlad would stand up to it as his brother did.So I'd still give that Lennox a small chance of beating Wlad today.
he'd beat everyone including Wlad even a faded lennox is leagues ahead of Tony Thompson, Rulan Chagaev etc. Lewis would land, and when he did, Wlad would sleep
Lewis would beat him today never mind 2004 I'm not a klitchko hater , but he hasn't had a complete metamorphosis and is now one of the greatest ever heavy weights . It is more a case of the opposition being well under par today which makes him look so good .he's the same guy who was ko,d a couple of times by mediocre opposition . Who has really got his act together and applies his physical attributes a lot better than he used too.
Come on people, Wlad now would beat Lewis and let's not forget Vitali finished Lewis. Wlad, IMO, is better than Vitali was. I think both Klitschko bros would have the measure over Lewis, apart from them, Lewis would clean up.
He didn't train as serious as he should of vs Kiltschko. He was not shot, but he was not in his prime. A motivated 2004 Lennox Lewis would clean out the division.
