Cotto wasn't shot just because he lost two fights against top class opposition. Some people think that if a fighter loses one fight these days he's shot

congrats on being able to find one fight from the past 6 years. And a fight that was signed by Floyd to fight him when Zab was still lineal champ and on a streak of 3 KOs in a row.

That would sound more impressive if Floyd fought more than once a year.

Cotto only went to 54 cause Pac kicked him outta 147

the man spent most of his career at welterweight and below and has not won a meaningful fight at 54

    Cotto was just never 'shot'.

A better example would be Morales, who could best be described as 'burnt out' at the time of his retirement.

He wasn't shot to begin with all he needed was some confidence.

Has is ever dawned on your dumbass that the reason he looked like **** against Clottey at 146/147 what have you, was because he was struggling to make weight? Has it? This Pacquiao fanaticism is not normal bro.

Truth here. He gotten beaten twice badly at WW, and was given a titleshot at 154. He'd have been a fool not to take it.
