No. If the Regular champ fights the Super champ, its for the Super title.

The Regular title becomes vacant, win or lose.

    At least, I think. :conf

It's a ****ing Joke Wlad is the WBA champ. i don't know how boxers can let another man walk around with their title and not be ****ing furious.

Look at Martinez called the Diamond? champ so Julio Cesar Chavez Junior can parade around in a belt he didn't earn calling himself the champ.

its a very annoying move to prevent domination, povetkin being any form of a champ at this point is laughable.

I consider it be worth about as much as a regional title or a minor belt title like the WBF or the BBBoC or the EU champ....about the level of Fecombox champ as well.

Fighters used to be able to when the WBA Interim, Regular and Super belts were just called the WBA World Championship...

The Interim belts are the worst out of all of these, an interim champion used to only arise in exceptional circumstances and now it seems they are de rigeur. And then you've got the WBC with their Diamond, Platinum, Silver and Cubic Zirconia belts. Give me strength...

    Indeed.

That said, if there's a "super champ", then being the "regular champ" holds about as much water as being an interim champ.

I think i speak for all fans when i say the belts **** me off and are ruining boxing, i don't know but if you use logic then you would say no, they both can't be held by one fighter at the same time because they won't get as much money in sanctioning fees if one fighter has two belts. All these belts are about is making money and devaluing champion status
