Hell nah. These dudes on here kill me when they say ________ (insert any boxer after a loss) needs a new trainer. The reality is these guys have been boxing since they were kids. They are who they are. Habits, whether good or bad is part of what they do. Styles makes fight. Just gotta give credit to the other guy

I think Lopez is mentally weak just like cotto was after the margarito loss and its hard to fix that and salido might of cracked that chin. He's just had two bad KO's. His defense is very bad it takes years to fix a defense that bad. His boxing skills aren't that great either and he got really exposed. He wasn't using his tools, he was meant to be the better boxer and with some pressure coming from salido you would of never of knew that when watching the fight. He is just a good fighter and he will stay that way i don't expect to see him do anything great in the sport like make top 10 P4P or anything like that.

He really may not be coachable at this point. The blue print is out and Im willing to bet that all of his losses will be by stoppage. He believes in his power way too much. As long as he fights this way, he will be exciting, but not always successful.

Sorry to disagree, but if he knew how to defend himself, he wouldn't have gotten iced the last two fights by the same guy in his back yard.

Could have. Now? No way. I believe that fight is the last high level fight in Juanma's career. He left a lot of himself in there. It got sad to watch when he began slapping punches.

Honestly, I can't see how he made it this far with defense this poor. Landing a punch on his head was like hitting the side of a barn with a baseball. It wasn't that Salido's offense was so precise or potent. He just couldn't miss!

That doesn't even mention the other areas of punch selection, stamina, focus, etc... Jaunma is in a rough spot.
