agenda laden posters, there were lots of them before floyd was about to fight cotto. i've read lots of posts saying cotto was shot after marg. now people try to act like nobody said it.

I've said that a couple of times now.

    Damage can be temporary, yes.

Cotto was physically and mentally damaged by the loss to Margarito.

It took a while, but those wounds all pretty much healed by now.

He's looked comfortable and confident at 154, and about as sharp as he was up through 2007.

Not saying nobody said it, saying a lot of those people were probably just expressing what they meant using the wrong word.

Or maybe some were too dumb to know the difference between shot and damaged.

No Cotto isn't shot. Pacquiao fanatics keep harping on that **** because Pacquiao received criticism from Floyds fanatics because a few of those fanatics claimed Cotto was shot after losing to Margarito, and for fighting Cotto at 145 lbs. This is how a ******* retaliates I guess.

A fighter can be "un-shot" if the diagnosis of them being "shot" is deemed to have been incorrect.

    11?

didn't see it before i posted. but yeah interesting point IB.

personally, when its considered damaged goods its damaged goods. even if you repair it, its not the same anymore.

in effect the one that diagnosed it made a mistake. ****ed up.

makes me think, how many times these people made mistakes with their diagnosis before.

I guess most of the damage was psychological and mental, less physical

exactly. so the confidence building win over margarito that cotto mentioned renewed him might be providing him with a false confidence.

he might think he regained that confidence and might falsely think that he is the same cotto he used to be. but he is not.

he is not better now. he just fought a lesser version of margarito.

    wouldn't you think so?
