of course he can Adamek is at his best when he has a guy standing in front of him, or even better, coming forward the whole fight, is can then throw flurries and move out of danger, he looked **** against Chambers and USS because he was the one pressing the action, and they were the ones countering him the whole fight Szpilka has a lot of holes in his defense, Mago practically has no defense, and would be tailor made for Adamek to win decisions against both guys
having watched adameks latest fight, i think he can beat them both but its a big struggle, but even though he won yesterday i just dont feel like hes the same adamek we saw before, he looked slow in the footwork. His bad head movement looks none existant now, but he did put some combos together well, i think he can beat these guys, its the tall fighters he would struggle with. I do like adamek as a fan i hope he gives it one last go for the title, and fights some big fights, he isnt getting younger, instead of cruising along like he is at the moment.
:rofl yes sure, a dude so green the best name on his cv is a walking pinata mccline. take a reality pill and think a little past his kos. Right now Abdu whatever his name is couldnt carry adamek's jock strap. usually these types of one trick pony fighters fail miserably as soon as they step up.
Both would have punchers chance against Adamek, but I dont think either would KO him with a single shot. Abdulsalamov seems to have a more contained approach and would probably fare the better of the two in a fight with Adamek. But as last night proved once again, you may be able to crack Adamek with a perfectly placed power shot, but once he clears and resets, it's back to business. Ive seen Adamek hurt against lesser fighters than either Szpilka or Mago, but once the trouble was passed, he completely dominated them. Adamek should give Szpilka a shot at his WBA title when he beats Chagaev for the vacant title next yr. Would be a good defense of that title, and an excellent walk away payday for Tomasz.:think
I'd pick Adamek over both. Adamek is still capable of boxing and moving enough to beat most heavyweights. He had a lot of trouble with Cunningham and Chambers because they are better and quicker at that style than Adamek. A big, strong, skilled guy like Vitali was able to run over Adamek but Szpilka doesn't have the size and Abdusalamov might have the size and strength but he doesn't have the skill to do it. I could see either guy scoring a stoppage over Adamek but I think Adamek most likely wins a decision over both. I'd actually like to see a Szpilka-Abdusalamov fight over an Adamek one.
