I dont know, I think that it all depends on the guy that he is fighting. the fight with Dawson wasnt exciting, he got handled easy, except for one punch....Vs Cunningham it was more exciting but that was due to once again one punch but it happened three times and was enough to win him a split....what Im getting at is without the knockdowns the last few rounds wouldnt have been as exciting cuz you would have most likely had one guy tring to fight Adamek, and one guy looking to get the fight over Cunningham... adamek's style isnt really that exciting in itself, he doesnt throw alot of shots, he looks to land one or two big shots at a time then spends the rest of the time setting up his next shot... Maybe a triology with Cunningham then a exciting fight with Enzo could make him more of a household name, but I dont think that he will ever be a STAR...
I think his style is very entertaining. I never seen him in a boring fight and he looks to be getting popular.
He has been in 3 HUGELY exciting fights so far. 3 real WARS. I think Don King is kicking himself right now. That asshat.
He is a pressure fighter, and if your a fan of his when he is putting on the pressure it makes it seem like he is about to do something...to people that arent diehard fans or nutticks of his its boring when he isnt doing anything bout following a guy around and getting tagged... I dont think that he is an exciting fighting, I think that he can have exciting fights if the other guys stand and fight him, with Cunningham did.
Boxing is a worldwide sport, and Adamek is a World Champion...he can fight anywhere...but I suppose he is just a step away from main eventing Chicago or Poland...and he's a serious undercard attraction at this point for an HBO or Showtime card in the states, co-feature is probably next...he steals the show, that's it.
31 is old? Just off the top of my head he still has a potential rematch with Dawson, this time at cruiser, and a must have rematch with Cunni. Also, other talents may surface.
