Can aligieri survive the early rounds?

I think if algieri can make it to about round 5, he starts to take over the fight....pac looked to fade badly in the first bradley fight and didn't do a whole lot better in the rematch. bradley was able to make pac miss easily and land some good counters. I just haven't seen pac in there with a lot of classic boxer types... but the few he has faced (marquez, bradley) gave him some trouble. i can easily see algieri winning this just by surviving the first couple of rounds then turning on the sped and movement and combinations as the fight progresses.

chris is very durable but so is marquez and he nearly never made it out of the first round 1 in the first fight but that was a different pac who blitz is opponents In the early rounds

I am expecting a storm but I think chris can take it

Provodnikov almost had Bradley out in the first round, after just a couple heavy blows. Algieri took Provodnikov's best shots and was way less hurt than Bradley, and he won more decisively.

He isn't bette than Bradley, but Paquiao cannot possibly hurt him in any way.

Even if he manages to survive the early round, he isnt taking over anything.

He categorically outboxed a p4p top 5 guy on both occasions, watch the fights again. The difference in class from Bradley to Algieri should be pretty stark on Sunday, although I'm not sure if Pacquiao wants to knock boxers out any more, perhaps he thinks it's not very Christian.

Pacquiao is not a one punch guy. How many times he drops boxers and they end up finishing the fight? I think ALgerie will be moving and choosing to come forward in spurts.Which will make it hard for Pacquia. But he will get the stoppage late via way of accumulation.

If Pacquiao storms out like he did early on in his career he might bomb out Algieri I just don't think he can do it

Even in Bradley II he was very flat footed

I like Mannys chances if he comes out aggressive and never let's Algieri get comfy

If Manny starts slow he may allow Algieri to take rounds and build something

I do believe chris is a better boxer than Bradley and he doesn't get hurt as easily but he has proven he can be completely ko'd by a clean shot by even a non puncher.

if he can make it to round 5/6 its anyone's fight. the longer it goes the more the fight leans towards chris. pac cant fight 3 min a round and now fades badly for some reason

Pacquiao dropped Shane Mosley, dropped Marquez numerous times, did permanent damage to Margarito's eye, beat Delahoya to a pulp and brutalized Cotto.

Those are 5 of the toughest guys in the sport over the past decade and more. Pacquiao hurt them all.

Bradley got hurt by Provodnikov so bad, because he stood and traded with him. Chris moved, and boxed him. They approached their fights with Ruslan completely different.

they both approached the fights to win. chris was able to adjust much quicker. ruslans aggressiveness got to Bradley and there was NOTHING he could do about it until rus gassed. a couple kd's weren't even counted against Bradley so in true reality he should had taken a big fat L

I don't even know why anyone is talking about this fight. The guy has 8 KO's on his record of bums.

Considering the beating Chris took during the early rounds with Provodnikov. I would say he's more durable then Pac. That could be a major game changer for Pac in this fight. Pac should beat him, but If Chris can collect himself, after being hurt by Pac, and establish a good long jab. Pac is going to have problems.
