I agree with you to a point, but I think an infighter who can use very good defense and cut off the ring can do damage. The hardest part of fighting inside on Pac is getting inside on him and keeping him there.
Once a fighter gets there, they can tie him up and go to work on him like Ward or Hopkins would

Yes Leonard was fighting more flat footed than Pac, but his footwork is better and he's still pretty quick on his feet. I'm sure he didn't plan on fighting off the ropes. He could pull the same thing off on Pacquiao

The best infighters with enough boxing ability and chin that I would say give Pac trouble is Duran, possibly Armstrong. Pac eats up JCC IMO. He lives off that style.

It's possible, but it'd be very difficult. It take someone with elite ability and toughness like a Duran or something. Pac is just too destructive to be fighting that way. It's like the equivalent of trying to swarm Mike Tyson - good luck with that.

Margarito got in some decent shots up against the ropes. The problem is when Pacquiao moves, the other fighter needs to move along with him and try to trap him again. That could get very exhausting because Pacquiao has good stamina. So if a fighter wants to do the seek and destroy strategy, they better be prepared to chase all night long.
