also peculiar is the way ariza suddenly left pac's camp in the PI and flew to jr. once a photo of chavez came out of him standing next to lee in texas to promote the fight.

even though they were fully clothed, lee looked extremely fit and jr looked like he was carrying a good extra 10 pounds around his gut.

Bitter ass Cubans...this site is riddled with them.

Why are Cubans always on Mexican nuts? As a neutral, its something I've noticed, and happens with greater frequency.

It's sad, it tells me there is a self esteem issue with their fighters, or who they feel they are in the boxing world, which, besides the Olympics every four years, they're a bunch of nobodies.

I doubt Arum/Roach made that big of a miscalculation but you never know. If Lee chooses to box, the most likely scenario, he will lose a decision because you aren't going to get the decision against Chavez without doing your fair share of the offense and fighting off the back foot. People are crying about bad decisions yet the judges have been scoring this way for a while now. The only way Lee is going to win a decision is to engage in a fight and I don't see that happening.

They won't put Chavez in with anyone he will lose to. So no Martinez fight.

Lee against Vera(2) was his best performance,he totally bossed the fight from start to finish and is a threat to all middleweights,we all know about Texas and Jrs weight advantage, but Andy has some left hook,he will know he will have to ko him to get a decision and i hope he doesn't burn himself out trying to finish him as he has gas promlems near the end,but i think Andy will win whether by ko or points as he wants this more than anything and he will do the bizz.

    Yeah,
I see Andy lee as the epitome of an Emanuel Stewart fighter. They use their range, are tall, tie up well and box long.
But once you get inside that distance they keep with the jab, Its basically open season on their body.
The way to beat em' Is from from the Inside out.. That goes for Hearns, Klitschko etc..

    Lee won't win

Only way he could win is by KO, and Chavez is a tough guy, specially for the featherfisted Andy.

My guess is they hate mexicans out of jealously of mexican iron chins

It's a well known fact that, regardless of their skill level, the majority of cuban boxers sport fragile pourcelain chins just waiting to be shattered and exposed, on the other hand mexican fighters are the epitome of mandibular fortitude so cuban fans will tend to hate them more than other countries' boxers.

Southpaw, great trainer, Steward says Lee one of the most dedicated fighters he's ever had, much better boxer then Jr. Lee will win clearly and outclass him, but Jr will have his moments and get the decision. Lee improves with each fight Jr looked good vs Duddy ever since then he's hot and cold. Lara, Canelo, Broner, those guys have potential to be great. Not Jr.

Can he win a decision in the State of Texas???? Andy has to KO Jr. or beat him from pilar to post, anything less and he gets robbed.

Lee doesn't have the workrate to keep chavez off him. chavez wins by legit wide ud or late stoppage (not gonna need a robbery even thouigh he'll get one if Lee happens to deserve a close win)
