Can any British fighters fight well on the inside?

Brook was getting hammered on the inside by Spencer. All the extra shots as they break and overhand hooks as well as hard body work

    Ward hammered Froch on inside

All i see is British fighters fighting mid and long range. Can't really think of any good fighters that work well on the inside

Obviously there are different schools of boxing but does anyone at all train massively on the inside. I've not seen it

Tyson Fury is the epitome of inside fightingness.

In all seriousness I remember Brook did well on the inside against Porter. I think Spence was just that bit better, he was ripping the body shots in so well on the inside. I was concerned scoring wise that we might see another Badou Jack situation - remember his bodywork was simply not scored in the Bute fight.

Looking at his fights always think Frampton can have it on the inside.

Cleverly is decent on the inside. Ryder is another. Chisora likes to do it. BJS mixed it well with Eubank.

Scott Quigg showed how not to do it in his last fight.

This is quite a rambling post, my apologies.

What does a fighters origin have to do with their fighting style or fighting strengths?

    More racist BS.

Are you actually being serious lol

Sweet Jesus the pc brigade has no boundaries.

Really couldn't see the racist transparency for this suggestion .

You know there is actually boxing style based on origin yea??

Philly, European, Eastern European , etc

Not saying everyone from those areas uses those styles but the styles did originate from those parts

Basically what I'm suggesting is Americans are better than Brits on the whole one the inside. Probably due to more coaches being better at teaching it.

I've always wondered if it's just coaching style or not, Errols Spence & Gervonta Davis are excellent inside, Crawford too. Where a lot of our champs are long/mid range & get outfought/outworked inside, I thik our amateur style remains very upright, jab, straight punches & fight at range. Nowhere near as explosive inside. It's a key element of world level pro boxing, a lot of our fighter lack to be honest.

I was shouting silently in my head for kell to go to the body as they were fighting on the inside. Kell did very little on the inside this allows Spence to hooks to the body which he is good at. But if kell did ram hard to the body whenever possible up close, it would take something out of Spence. Even when kell got to the front foot pressing Spence, he didn't have too much success. U have to give Spence all the credit.

Of course your correct..everyone knows that certain regions, generaly bring different / certain styles.
The mexican style is different to the cuban style and they are both different to the british style.
