I think will have the best performance of the year against Miguel.

Cotto has very bad footspeed and will look like a punchng bag at times when against Floyd.

I think Floyd easily handles Cotto.....the ref wil stop this fight.

yea dude floyd would smuther his punches an would jus pick cotto apart... the ref would likey stop the fight on cuts or cotto would look like he was being effective for the first for rounds then maywether would jus tear him apart from round 4 to 12

I believe that cotto has a great chance of beating floyd. Floyd is a lot faster than cotto, no doubt about it, but proper timing neutralizes speed and cotto has great timing with his punches. Cotto is well disciplined and he makes great adjustments during his fights. The fact that Cotto is a natural southpaw is a great weapon to use against mayweather especially when he switches stances during a fight can be pretty confusing. A left uppercut from a powerful puncher like cotto could mean trouble due to the fact that mayweather likes leaning to his right while he is on the ropes dodging punches. Cotto's body punching is alsm a great weapon, I don't think Floyd could withstand getting his arms pounded while in his defensive stance, those body blows will eventually cause damage regardless if his arms are there to protect him. Not saying that cotto is gonna wup his ass, just saying how he could win.

Mayweather has had some trouble with southpaw in the past, and I agree that this could make problems for him. This would also be the strongest man Mayweather has ever faced. Not to mention Cottos opponents typically say that he has underrated speed, especially his powerful, quick jab (which I would expect him to double up on). He is also very good at cutting off the ring and pressures MUCH smarter and better in general than Hatton. This being said I take PBF for the decision in this fight, but the above reasons are why Cotto will make it Mayweathers hardest test to date :deal

This will be a great fight if it ever happens. I can't really pick a clear winner on this one though.

I think PBF might eke out a victory, a lot tighter than the DLH victory, but Cotto I think will give PBF his first knock down, will crowd his punches with a stronger presence and more accurate shots than Hatton. The problem is, Floyd will pull something out of his ass to get ahead. Cotto can adjust very well, but Floyd is master at adjusting. I used to think it bull**** when Floyd said he did not watch videos of his opponents but felt them out in the ring. I kinda believe him now, his adjustments are that of someone thinking on their toes and not someone with a "gameplan." This is probably the secret to his success.
