This thread is the worst example of "Death/retirement adds 50% to your legacy" I have ever seen.

McClellan was a Lacy-type fighter who got the same kind of unwarranted hype, and just stopped early enough for his fans to retain some fantasy that he was a good fighter.

 

Nigel Benn you mean.McClellan knocked **** out of Julian Jackson, he could`ve dealt with half of them names.

Look we All know G-man HAd Power but like so many other fighters we don't know for sure if he could beat Williams, Martinez and KP. thing is G- abandoned his Boxing skills as he progressed and Left Steward. Unforunatly that choice works against him in theses match ups. Alot of these poster when talking about his speed and skills are basing that off a young G-man that seemed to have the world at his feet. he showed later on like all pure puncher that fall inlove with their power and abandon their fundamentals that they can get frustrated and get out smarted. Str8 up his power makes those fights 50/50 right of the but as all 3 aren't hard to hit .

 

As for Sturm well he's a solid fighter but G-man Knocks him out in 5 or less. and Sylvester well haven't seen much of him so can't comment.

as for the WW well if it's at 160 the only ones i can see smart enough to come in Light would be PBF and Pac(cuz roach would make sure) Berto would be knocked out in 1,SSM mosely likes to brawl so he'll get Ko's in 5. Pac also like to trade so well he gets ko'd to. and PBF would have to be mobile and stay sharp to get out with the w.
