Can any version of Mike Tyson after he left Rooney, which was right after Spinks, beat a Rooney Trained Tyson that fought with him from Trevor Berbick through Spinks?

I just want to see how many agree with the notion that the "Peak" years of Mike Tyson, under the tutelage of Kevin Rooney, was better than any version after Rooney.

Here is one article that talks a little about it all...which includes thoughts from such trainers as Eddie Futch

    Not sure.
He was hardly a bum in his comeback. It's just a difficult thread to relate to, since Tyson vs. himself is kinda bizarre. (No offence.)

He was at his absolute peak in 1988 though. He tore through quality fighters like they were nothing.

no..he stopped moving his head, stop caring about setting up combos and fell in love with his power.Tyson was a machine that was dedicated to craft and once he left that craft he was there for the taking

Tyson lost alot after he lost Rooney and Cus

    Discipline

    technique

    and dedication

losing those 3 things in boxing is suicide

The poll says it all, Berbick-Spinks was easily the best of Tyson.
