Can Anybody Explain To Me Why Bute Is Picking On Middleweights?

I see your ADD is kicking in but allow me to help you. It tells us that Bute's detractors, such as yourself (a special case as practically your entire body of work targets Bute), conveniently ignore the simple fact that the alleged top 168 pounders resumes were boosted by the Super 6 Classic except Bute's of course, who wasn't invited. What part of that do you not understand?

Said it before: Bute's resume will improve as opportunities rise. The day he will liver punch the living hell of the Kesslers and Wards, the haters will have nowhere to crawl except under the rock they came from. Good luck.

Until then, anyone with a brain will be laughing at your obsessive bashing.

''No senior amateur career'', as you say, yet became Zealand senior amateur champ in 1998. Go figure. Also consider that the age at which one turns senior varies, 17 years old being the standard.

Kessler turned 17 on March 1st 1996 therefore has 20 senior amateur fights under the belt, total junior/senior 47 (44-3).

Bute started his pro career later because he didn't have the right opportunity or guidance to turn pro earlier. Decent boxing careers for guys coming outta Romania are not a common thing. They are not financially backed by solid promoters like fighters in other parts of Europe, therefore they don't normally envision pro careers in the same matter.

Luckily for Bute, Leonard Dorin laid the path before him with Interbox, which eventually helped Bute make his way to North America in 2003, at the age of 23 in order to immediately start his pro career.

Ziggy Montana has correctly pointed out that with the same amount of fights under similar circumstances, Bute's resume is quite decent compared to Kessler, considering the S6 has considerably slowed down his options at 168lbs.

If age is the most important factor to consider when achieving something, according to the Danish idiot, then I guess we must all downgrade what Hopkins has done since Trinidad; what Tarver has done facing Jones & Johnson or what Martinez has done starting since the Cintron fight...

Good points Pasky. The voice or reason rises above the clamours and discordant sounds.

No. You are first a senior when you are 19.

In Denmark perhaps, not in the UK and several other coutries where boxers turn senior on their 17h birthday. Source: Wikipedia under Amateur Boxing: '' A Boxer becomes a Senior on his 17th birthday''

    Bute's a BUM.
The BUM ducked the Super 6, and even if they did not invite him, it's clear he wanted no part of it.
Bute never tried to get into the tournament. He just sat back and let his silly fans say that he wasn't invited. He didn't even try to get in when Taylor, and Dirrell dropped out as substitute. He wanted no part of facing top talent, but preferred to take easy money fighting no bodies for his silly soft Canadian fans.

Bute's a BUM, and his time for exposure is just about over, and I can't wait.

When the first drop of the S6 happened, Bute was with HBO. Dont forget too that nobody (in any media) said he was invited then or that he didnt try to go, we only know that he didnt get in).

I remember you bitching Bute not long ago because he was not calling the best MW. What has changed in your head since?

I am sorry you are experiencing disconnects. Provided you can read (a bold assessment on my part, I confess), please refer to the Amateur Boxing Association of England Rules and Regulations book, p. 40.
