Former kickboxer/boxer who won a commonwealth belt and got stopped by Nelson. Anyone have anything to add about the guy?
Very talented kickboxer who amassed a heap of brutal KO's beleieve acheived and alphabet kickboxing title, not sure why he changed to boxing but i know that for a fair few fights he was coached by fenech. Have heard whispers he may have not been such a nice bloke to a fair few people over the last decade, also had a controversial insomnia-drug induced Sleepwalking/Halucination incident which resulted in him laying on a strangers lounge wearing a dress, while telling her that if she called the police she would "regret it" . All in all seems like an odd sort of dude
he was a very good all round fighter. pity he ****ed up with the drugs and got busted. never heard anything bad about him before last year. always looked business like and focused.... u cant pick em.
Just trying to learn a little more about the Australian boxing scene. I'm trying to find out more about the players over the last 10 or so years. I'm already familiar with the leading lights like Fenech, Briggs, Green, Mundine, Harding, Thornberry, etc. It's the exploits and the backstories of the lesser fighters such as the Jason DeLisles and the Gavin Topps of the world that intrigue me. I guess I'm just strange like that. Anyway, thanks for the info guys.
No worries Marcus. From memory Adam was fishing on a mates boat when the call came through to fight Bernardo. I don't think he even got 2 full weeks of training in.
very tough fighter and a very good commentator. Haven't met him but from all reports a very nice bloke( The drug charges may change that to a certain degree)
