I think Rigondeaux would probably box his ears in. Would love to see the fight.

Shall make judgement when Garcia fights someone his own size he's just fighting smaller men and coming in much larger on fight night and they cant take his superior power because of his weight advantage.

I really think Uchiyama would be 50/50 with Mikey. I could be wrong, but I rate Uchiyama very highly. He's crammed a lot of experience into his relatively few fights. He had incredible power, great finishing instrinct, and elite skills. He's also a fully fledged 130 pounder.

Although Mikey is probably my second favorite fighter behind Ward, I'm not going to get completely irrational and rate him over the clear number 1 guy and pound for pound prospect in a heavier weight class just because he beat Juanma tonight. In any case, based on the merits of the two fighters involved, Garcia-Uchiyama is one of the very best fights that can be made right now in the entire sport. Whoever wins is a lock for the pound for pound lists, no questions asked.

Here's an amazing thought. Maybe, just maybe, Garcia could leave the states for once instead of John having to come to him.

Lopez was never a threat to Garcia. It was simply a matter of skills and Mikey had them all over Lopez. The way he is taking command of his skills puts him in a direct path to the p4p listings. He said that there were some legitimate issues around why he didn't make the weight and I believe him because he seems to be an honorable man. I hope he stays and give Gary Russell Jr. a shot. I think he beats Mares. I don't see anyone at 130.

On the heels of this spectacular KO by Garcia, I have a lingering doubt about his resolve. Boxing's in his DNA, but not his temperament. Suspect if he's pushed to the wall, he'll wilt.

No way would Basilio, because of a broken nose, have allowed a fight he was winning go to the cards. A shrewd move by Garcia's corner, but not the gladiator code.

    That's a very valid question.

    Only time will tell.

I would love to see Garcia vs Mares. I really think that fight is a 50/50. A lot of people don't give Mares credit but he has the better resume and better competition and hasn't disappointed. But.....you have the TR vs GBP feud that won't permit this fight to happen.

lopez was super slow yesterday and every time somebody touch that chin he go down, I will like to see Mikey fight a live body to judge him first..he weight drained a 130 pounder and he came overweight he also was much heavier on fight night..I will like to see him fight Argenis Mendez, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Russell jr and not to guit so I can't see the end of the fight..

Vazquez would have a terrific chance. Canelo didn't even hurt Vazquez and Vazquez will always stay in his side of the ring until his opponent comes to him, even if he's in front of a 100 thousand big crowd and they're all booing.

    But that is at 135.
