I dont think so Harrisson has no defining wins and a loss to a guy like Rogan and was terrible in his last fight til a last minute KO he can fight for the Commonwealth belt but not the WBA
Haye could fight guys like Adamek or Peter or Chambers or Areolla or Holyfield or Tua and I'd not complain
Nope. Haye's a ****ing *****. If he hadn't spent so much time talking trash and calling out the Klits and even finding Wlad in public and getting in his face and then bitching out TWICE after agreeing to terms with both brothers......Goddamn this guy is a ****ing homo. If none of that happened, I could understand him putting some cash in the bank before he went for it all. But ****.
What do you want from Haye ... he is doing what he have promised: he cleans out the HW division. First he got rid of Valuev, then he retired Ruiz, finally he is trying to end up the biggest dreamer in boxing history. Give him people a break!
This has some merit. As much as we all want to see Haye vs. Klitschko, he accomplished pretty much with only 3 fights since moving up. But he is losing the last shrouds of credibility, if he does not fight a Klitschko soon, i.e. this year.
Meh...fighting a Klitschko could be a career ender. Hopefully he fights them soon though because the heavyweights need a big fight.
I want to see Haye fight someone decent. But i understand his actions, he obviously knows he's got no chance of beating Klitchko's. He'll fight the softest opponents available until he's forced into a mandatory, which will take quite a while...
I'll try and explain my thinking: -Haye called out the Klitschkos and promised to clean up the division: he hasn't delivered. So in that context, fighting Audley is obviously a very poor alternative considering that he isn't fighting the champions, and not even the few credible opponents in the division. -However, the fight in itself, not considering the calling out of the Klitschkos, is not a problem. Haye is still new at HW, he's quite small at the weight. Fighting Audley isn't any worse than Vitali fighting Sosnowski. I didn't have a problem with the Vitali-Sosnowski fight either. I think that as long as fighters are taking the big fights, the occasional fight against an underdog can also be exciting because it provides guys like Sosnowski and Audley a special opportunity and can potentially bring the best out of them. Assuming Haye actually goes on to fight the Klitschkos, I think a lot of us will look back and say there was no problem with having a big domestic fight first. So in short, taking Haye's claims and promises out of the picture (assuming they were for marketing or that he plans to deliver a bit later, and I think it will happen), this fight is ok.
yeah but the problem is that vitali klitschko said he and his brother are ready to fight haye if he wants to get it on. days later it's haye v. audley we're hearing about..... EDIT : but i agree with what you're saying. haye will cash in more from an audley fight now because of the publicity at HW.
