Chavez Jr is a large middleweight. Cotto is an average sized welterweight. Obviously Cotto is miles ahead as a fighter, reached a level JCC Jr will never see in his prime, and has much more skill, but can he keep JCC Jr off of him, take his body attack, and be able to stop those inside combinations? I kind of don't think so....but I'd hope for a Cotto victory.

i think cotto's waaaaaayyyyy overrated at 154. who he beat? an old ass mayorga and a feather-fisted foreman with a bum knee? at this very point cotto would probably deal chavez out too much punishment though, especially if he fights like he did yesterday. if chavez manages to develop a decent jab, i'll take him.

Cotto wont play that inside game like zbik did, Cotto will punish that kid all night long with hard combinations, get out of there then jab.

Cotto is the faster guy... so Chavez needs to be on the inside to win.... But Cotto has a devastating left hook to the body... I think Cotto wins a decision

also chavez doesnt fight tall so the height will be irrelevant, cotto is more skilled as well.

If Chavez' chin is as good as I think it is, than IMO the weight won't be irrelevant when he walks through Cotto's punches and keeps the pressure on.

Let it go guys, let PR enjoy Cotto because it is their last hero that is can still fight at the elite level.

    Lopez been mexicanized

    Vasquez too

    Calderon also

They got nothing but prospects and up and coming.

Let PR enjoy Cotto and let them win the argument.
