I think Chavez has a good shot to beat Cotto due to the size difference (which is a lot). But slightly lean towards Cotto via competitive UD.

if he lands those body shots against cotto hell yeah ! but cotto will punish him
with left hooks every time and i dont know if he can take cottos power that easy even though he blows up to 180 pounds lmao

As they say boxing is about level's , Jr is not on Cotto's level IMHO , and id fancy Cotto to beat him in most departments , providing the fight was at no more than 156 !!!

    Sidenote

    Martinez will decapitate him :deal

Ud or sd by cotto. Jr would be a problem for Cotto on the later rounds mainly due to his size. Still uses no jab and he doesnt use his right hand often. The few times he paid attention to Roach to use a right hook he hurt Zbik. Avg fighter borderline good, but nothing that really stands out and thats not the case with Canelo even for his age.

I think Cotto would start his running man routine around the 9th round.
Chavez will pressure him to a beat down.

Chavez Jr. takes this no doubt about it. :deal

not at this very moment jr still has stuff to work on but the size and body punching could carry the day

if jr could weather cottos shots and get him in backpeddle mode who knows

Where was the running man routine against Mayorga ???

Manny Steward = Working on Cotto's mistakes = Cotto a better all round fighter

Chavez Jr , is not on Cotto's level :deal
