Can Anyone Else See Timmeh Outboxing Cotto and Quite Easily at That?

Who's Timmeh and why is he quitting?

 

Cotto wants the Bradley fight and so does Arum. Bradley is stalling on a decision. He was willing to fight GGG, why not Cotto?

 

That's a tough even fight! Both are very good boxers and could fight extremely well off the backfoot, but I think it will come down to who can take the better punches and who can carry out their gameplan effectively. I can also see this fight turning into a war, given both fighters reputations in big fights.

 

It always ends up about $$$ at the end of the day. And who can blame him. Bradley has a great resume and has only lost to 1 guy so he should get a good payday for a Cotto fight.

 

There ain't no way Tim is gonna outbox Cotto. Cotto is as disciplined and skilled as they come, he's just not a freak of nature. He's like Tim Duncan, fundamentally sound and yet still hard to beat.

 

Cotto has a habit of slipping and remember Trout boxing him up after the Floyd fight? Bradley has the ability to apply pressure.

Yep. Neither guy as the power to KO the other. Don't believe the Martinez(cripple) or Geale(drained) hype from team Cotto with those KOs. Bradley has lost his confidence though so maybe Cotto might pull it off. I think it hurt him to watch Mayweather finesse his way through a 12 round fight with a guy that dropped him 3 times.

 

But Trout is 5'10 to Cotto's 5'7 and he's a natural 154 where Cotto is a blown up and old 147. Timmy won't have any of Trout's advantages so in that respect, skills wise I still give Cotto the edge. As far as Timmy, he's got a lot of ring years for all the damage he's taken, so they may both be even there.

 

True. Cotto is wide for his height.

 

This is a really good fight and one I've been calling for for years. It just makes sense all around.

 

I don't think Bradley has enough to make cotto respect him. Cotto will beat him
