Whats going on with this guy? He lands full swing haymakers and doesnt knock guys down He punches from 12 (or less) inches and guys go down like a hit from a sledgehammer It's like the Bruce Lee one inch punch, but actually for real Does anyone know how he generates so much power from such little backswing? (and from what ive seen he doesnt swing his whole body into it either)
In what fight(s) did he land full swing haymakers and the opponent didn't go down? Just curious, I actually don't remember.
how? he has a lot of power, lol, plus his handspeed is pretty impressive as well. I was just watching tape on him, as you said, he can generate a lot of power with very little swing, his right hand is like a piston at times. Plus his left is good as well.
(theres some great answers in this thread but for some reason the multi reply function doesnt seem to work) jesus notice too Serge how even back then he just strolls off after landing. people are gushing over the way he did that v Campilo, but seems he's been doing that his entire career Uber G
Wow...what a brute! Beterbiev generates just awful power...the guy he was fighting was just being moved around the ring by those shots. That final right was awesome!
Yes, I love it when KO punchers just act all nonchalant after flattening one of their opponents. The CW Alexander Frenkel used to do that. He'd knock someone spark out and just stroll off without even celebrating. lol
He did the same to Ismail Sillakh in the amateurs as well. Flattened him with a brutal short right hand 4:51 [YT]t21bxE9Da3A[/YT]
Loved that guy. Heard mental issues did his career in. Golovking does it often as well, while Stevenson does the complete opposite and jumps trough the ring like he just won the national lottery.
Another Beterbiev brutal short right hand finish in the amateurs. His opponent manages to remain upright but he's badly dazed by the punch. 4:36 [YT]s5UjD3fsTds[/YT]
Man...there's an air of menace about this guy that's a palpable as Liston or Tyson ever had. There's this immovable quality about him also. He's one of the strongest lightheavies I've ever seen.
