    Hindsight's always 20/20.

Thought you might enjoy seeing what fighters, trainers, boxing experts 'n fans predicted in a vid I shot of the pre-fight build-up for Ruiz-RJJ in L.A. 'n Vegas.

Wlad is not undisputed, he is a unified champ.

Wlad being recognize as undisputed is still in dispute until Vitali fights his own brother or losses the WBC title to Adamek and Wlad beats Adamek.

You don't hear Michael Buffer announcing Wlad Undisputed Heavyweight World Champion. He is the number 1 guy no doubt but he is not the Undisputed.

Are you implying that Lewis duck Ruiz because he was scared of him and couldn't beat him?

There are too many belts, too many weak champions and too much politics in boxing. It will be hard to start an argument to the contrary even here. I'll get back to you when I have a solution to the problem.

The TS is desperate to pick a fight, but no one will take him up on it. Jones obviously was not the main man in the division and never would have been, but he did beat a legitimate, longstanding contender for a belt. End of story.

Jones was NEVER a Heavyweight Champion he was a BELTHOLDER. Huge difference there. In fact Jones NEVER beat a Unified, Lineal, or Undisputed Champion in his whole career. It is also arguable he was never THE Champion in any weight class he fought in. Most of the belts he won were vacant belts.

Well to answer the question, lewis got stripped for facing grant then tua instead of ruiz. Ruiz won a trilogy against holyfield and was the wba beltholder by the end of it. Hence jones took the belt when he beat him.

I'm not sure anyone ever considered jones the best heavyweight in the world at any point.

The WBA seem to be doing a "Lite" version, this usually occurs when a champion with a WBA belt unifies and becomes Super Champion. They even do an Interim version.

The sanctioning bodies know if one fighter has all the belts, then they don't get as much in sanction fees.

Imagine if there were 10 belts, all the purse would go in sanctioning fees!
