Can anyone give me a good template on how to beat a southpaw?

i extend my lead hand so it is just in front off his lead hand. That takes away his lead hand. Then you only need to watch out for the south paws left hand. Which you can slip and counter with right uppercut or straight right depending on range and move to your left away from his power hand. I have done LOTS of south paw sparring and this method works for me.

Whenever I'm in doubt and fighting a southpaw I always either throw a left hook to the body or right uppercut to the head these seem to be the biggest openings that a southpaw has.
