Can anyone justify breaking 2 fighters based on this?

Go to 5:15 in the vid.

Why was he rushing in like that to break the action?

I think Joe Cortez always was caught by his brothers as a child and beat up. Thats why he hates inside fighting, he was having flashbacks there.

I don't understand why he is still a ref with so many **** calls on fights of late. This fight though.....he was shocking!

Ricky had him in a headlock.
But when Cortez ran in, he pounced Ricky to pull him off.

Are you watching the wrong part? No headlock in the break I'm talking about.

See Floyds rabbit punch just before that moment while Ricky was on the ropes?

Floyd landed single punches on Hatton and just hugged him. I suppose that's fine though...examples of this are at 4:36 and 4:55.....where is Cortez then?

Yeah that old senile Cortez is a credit to boxing, great reactions. Floyd fan no doubt:roll:
