Can anyone see Brook/Matchroom not taking the Alexander fight?

They will not go for it if Alexander wins the purse bids. Hearn won't go for having every disadvantage for his fighter, unless he truly believes in him, which I have my doubts he fully does. I also doubt Matchroom will beat GBP in purse bids.

The disadvantage of not going for it is that he'll lose that position which he's been working for and will get a backlash for not fighting him.

I'm a massive brook fan, but if he cant get the fight in england, he should 100% take the fight in the US!
Even if it means going over there a month before the fight to carry on with his training camp. US is where the big names and the money is, and it's where the best fights get made!
If he doesn't fight a big name next, my level of respect and interest will go down massively. The skills are there, im just not sure if the balls are there

What are you talking about Laz?

Eddie went to Kells house and sat in the living room with his Dad in front of a warm fire eating Haribos and singing kumbaya my lord. Eddie went straight to the point, do you want it or not!?!

Kell said he wants it more than anything.

    They then went upstairs.................

    Hearn knows they'll vacate.

It will go to purse bids, Hearn will win and there is no way Alexander comes to the UK.

There is no chance of this fight happening.

Kell vacated for Eddie so Eddie could always be where he has wanted to be.

    On top.

I think Kell would be prepared to fight Alexander anywhere but Alexander will only fight Kell in the US.

It's where it would make the most money, and no way Kell Brook can headline Vegas. Devon already proved he's not a draw away from home when he lost to Bradley in Detroit.

I can't see Kell not fighting for the IBF strap, he really would get a backlash, I mean it was bad enough when he turned the Bradley fight down, and even that was only somewhat subdued because he stated that he wanted to go this route.

you could put the fight in Vegas. the casino fee would cover what you lose from a 10k arena. he has been drawing big for non world title fights so there no reason why he couldn't get a decent amount of fans over to LV.

    I would be there.
