Could someone? In theory, yes. Even if Floyd would win 999/1000 fights, there's always that tiny chance to get caught that every boxer faces (call it "systemic risk")

Outside of that, is there anyone I'd bet on under 160 beating Floyd? Nope.

And the people above Pac are?
Can you please name just 3 boxers at 154 and 147 (or any boxers worth their salt at 140 and can realistically go up to 147) who will be a better match than Pac?

If all you remember in Pac-JMM 4 was the KO (and not even remember that Pac knocked JMM down quite easily too) then YDKSAB.

Pac is arguably the only one with the speed, power and style to trouble FMJ. His speed is still there. His power is still there. His awkward style is still as awkward as before.
The only question right now is if his chin and heart would remain the same after that brutal KO (that according to sources he watched over and over again in silence).
Nobody came close in all the years that they were both active, and prime or close to prime, to being a real competition to FMJ than Pac.

Go on, name 3 boxers please.

Lara would maybe have the best shot in my opinion. I would maybe still favor Floyd personally, but Lara is certainly able to defeat him at this point.
Also, I'd still give Pacquiao a very good chance. I had the fight 50-50 prime for prime. Now I'd favor Floyd but I'm sure he'd face the difficulties he never experienced before.
As for the third guy, I'm not sure, probably Alvarez. Matthysse would perhaps have a fair punchers' chance though.

That's pretty much it I guess. However, as for the bigger guys, I wouldn't give Floyd much chance against GGG, but I don't think that the fight will happen.

Focus aside, Molina hug his way to a draw and almost got decapitated in the process, none of them deserve it to win but if you were to give the decision to any of them, Lara landed the cleanest punches and hurt Molina a least on two separate occasions, and no, Lara was without a trainer and had a tooth infection three days prior to fight night, Lara's ppl want it to cancel and Lara say the show most go on, the kid have balls, a draw was fair, the thing is that detractors will always find a way to exagerate and detract, that's what they do, sounds familiar?

Fights are scored by rounds, and Molina clearly won more than Lara that night IMO thanks in large part to Lara's habit of waiting for on eshot at a time. Further, I find complaints about Molina being dirty in that fight a bit amusing in light of the fact that Lara has since incorporated more and more of the dark arts into his own arsenal. Finally, I would hardly call myself a Lara detractor, I simply think it's absurd to have him beating everyone from 154 and below on the basis of his performances so far.

Hernandez? He play with the dude and remember he broke his hand against Vanes and still put a hurt on the guy from the 5th on, like I say, you look more like a detractor than a unbiased fan, Vanes quit in that fight, he told the doctor he couldn't continue even before the doc took a look, the guy was on his way to get stopped...

Obviously he beat Hernandez and I thought he got hosed against Vanes but again, those performances weren't exactly the sort that would lead me to believe he'd beat anyone at 154 and below. I mean I thought Ouma did a better job against Vanes than Lara. I also wouldn't exactly say Vanes quit considering how bad that cut was...

Casamayor never ducked Floyd, however everytime Fraud was asked about a possible fight against Joel he didn't know how what to say, Joel and his team were pursuing that fight, they knew the money was there, stop with the lies... And Joel could had won the fight against castillo, he hit hima will but he wasn't the house fighter, same thing happened when he fought Freitas...

The cut was bad, but Lara fought Williams with a mellon hanging from his head and didn't stop fighting, I seen worst and what got me to believe he quit was his reaction when he saw the doctor coming, even before he was check he told him that he couldn't continue, he was getting tagged that is why he stopped that fight, Lara fought Angulo with the cards stacked against him, couldn't dehydrate over 160lbs while Angulo balloned to 175, they fought in a phone booth which will favored an slow brawler with dynimate on both hands, you look at his resume and has fought the best available fighters in his division, he even went to 160 and ko Hearns there, the guy could be fighting at 147 but who will be willing to face him, canelo is been running from him for the past 2 years, Vanes they put a gun on his head to make him face Lara, the rematch was ordered and he say no, the kid got skill and balls, I thought he was getting ko when got drop by Angulo, he shake off and continue to put a hurt on the guy, there's nothing you can hate, taking on all comers and in their back yards...

well if you notice, Lara start fighting a "little" dirty after that fight, now he was very clean against Angulo, I know the scoring is base on rounds and that's why you have three judges, some like to give the round to the more active fighter, even if they don't land $h1t, others to the more accurate, the more powerful etc..., that's why I think that a draw was fair for everyone involve, is not like Molina put up a clinic or Lara put him down a few times, it was an ugly fight do to the inactivity of Lara and molina's hugging, and I'll put my money where my mouth is and predict that a 100% Lara vs a 100% molina will and should beat the crap out the king... They are on different level skill, power and speed; Not even close.

I never understand why so many people believe Lara has a shot at beating Floyd. Mayweather would spank him. Can anyone seriously picture Mayweather struggling against the likes of Angulo, Vanes and Molina as Lara did?
