Lara is the best fighter at 154. Mattahyse is the 2nd best at 140. This isn't a question.

Nobody beats Mayweather below middleweight, hence why people are demanding he fight a middleweight, if he beat Golovkin, which I doubt he would, they'll say why doesn't he fight Kovalev?

You guys that keep saying we'd ask Mayweather to move up again are just being silly. The best welter of most generations moved up to fight the best middleweight.
And before you respond with "Mayweather started at jr lightweight", please remember men like Duran that moved up to middle and beyond.
If he wants to call himself TBE, this GGG fight isnt too much to ask.

If you don't consider him TBE then there's no reason for him to move up, yes he needs to fight GGG if he wants to make a serious claim to crack the top 15 I agree though. IMO even if he got KTFO in round 6 it'd enhance his resume daring to be greater.

If Pacquiao won, would people be saying he's ducking Golovkin?

If either had fought above 154 I'd say fair game, there's no excuse if they went up for another fight.

he is not even challenging himself by dominating 147 so forget 154. the 160 champ is willing to get down to 154 to challenge the supposed tbe but well he waited for pac after five years to slow down so never mind. just where is berto and mayfield ranked at 147, they are not even champs and mandatories. if floyd is guaranteed so much money, he should have the decency to atleast fight a legit opponent like brook, bradley, and thurman.

or Pac waited for Floyd to slow down? Why must it only be one way? :patsch

Manny looked phenomenal against Marquez, Rios, Bradley and Algieri.

Duran wasn't beating prime world champions when he was 38, Mayweather fought great opposition from the time he was a lightweight all the way until now against Berto. Duran fought some great fighters but wasn't consistent in every fight, he fought world champions in his older years but almost always lost.

I say again, if you wouldn't have asked Pacquiao to fight Golovkin if he won, don't ask Mayweather to. If either of them had gone north of junior middleweight then they'd be fair game, Golovkin down to 154 would be a joke, we saw what happened to De La Hoya when he tried to come down, even a few pounds can make a difference, people say Canelo was 'drained', what the hell would Golovkin be, stop calling for it the guys who say Canelo is a tainted win because he was drained, can you not understand the hypocrisy of your agenda
