Early 80s, I think. Around the same time Stanley Weston started KO. KO, Boxing (year), and World Boxing were all started around the same time. KO was first published in 1980, that I know.
I've just checked my collection and the earliest copy I have is April 1972 (I must have gotten mixed up with Boxing International in my initial post). In the issue, with Ruben Olivares on cover, it has 'back issues' of the mag- the earliest one being December 1968. So, that may be your answer squire. :good ps. It seems Zakman and I were getting mixed up with the alignment with KO magazine a few years later. New editorial staff/writers took over around 1979/80.
