I think Angel Manfredy was on his way to KOing Floyd but the currupt ref stopped the fight.

He's weighed in 168 or under. Same with Sergio. I don't think they'd be suffering too much with 2-3 more pounds off. Floyd can come in at 155 at least

it's too bad Mosley ducked Floyd when they were younger and Pacquiao was too weak to give blood

You'd have to hope Pac from the Cotto fight showed up and none of the other highly suspect WW forms of Pac, because you would def be in the minority there. Even if that one showed up, you'd be in the minority PLUS you'd have less confidence than his own team would have; balking from negotiations in December '09-January '10 to go fight Clottey.

You list Mosley from 2009. Bro, Mayweather won 11 rounds over him in 2010...

"prime Cotto" Oh, the one at 140 who admitted to turning down the Mayweather fight in 2006 because he was "not ready?" That one? Cool.

"prime Margo" Which one is that? The caught cheater who KO'd Cotto between his two other fights against elite WW's, losses to PWill and Mosley. That the prime you're talking about?

Oh, and good shout with Castillo:
    Mayweather W UD 12 X 2

    Hahahah

He/they really are. (still weary of potential alt use among... "them")

Well that's a pretty tight criteria seeing that he weighs no more than 152ish on fight night. That means he's more of a 140 lber. All depends on how he looks in 2 weeks. But right now, probably no one. Happy?

But the most he's ever entered at is 151, chugging some water down before tipping the scales.

So 151 and then 161 would be the weights relevant to this thread.

edit: Woops! Forgot this was "fight night weights." In which case Mayweather probably came in a couple pounds over that 151 (although he claimed he lost weight between weigh in and fight; I doubt that).

Another thing to note is Floyd's WW fight against Zab. Weighed in at 146. Entered the ring at 146.

Zab was ages ago. we don't know his fight night weight for 3 or the 4 fights since the retirement. JMM said he was 20lbs heavier. I get he's exaggerating, I doubt he's off more than 10lbs though. Both with regards to JMM's credibility, and from what I saw in the ring.

Well we do know he weighed 150 against Ortiz, who was 164.

I know. That was the only time he stepped on the HBO scale since retirement. Why? Either way, all we can say is he was 150 vs Ortiz. He was probably at least 155 vs Marquez. If you're 150 fight night, there's really 0 excuse for not bothering with the contracted CW.

    Cause:

    1. He didn't wanna make the contract weight, which should be a breeze if he was 150 fight night
    2. He refused next day weighin
    3. JMM claims he was "20lbs heavier". He wouldn't be saying that if it was 4lbs fight night

Either way, you forfeit the right to self serving weight claims if you pass on next day weighin

+10- Floyd would whoop them all under one condition...if Floyd know where they were when he's was dominating at 21. Other then that the fight won't happen.

I never said I believe JMM, only that he wouldn't be exaggerating that bad if there wasn't at least a division between them. And if JMM can be less than reliable on these matters, how can anyone take any weight claims coming out of Team FMJ seriously, especially if he skips next day weighin?

Whether he was 153 or 156, with his frame he should be able to make 155 in tip top shape.
