Seriously speaking though billy nelson would be the man for appleby he has worked with arthur
And harrison in the past and the work he is currently doing with burns and limond speaks for itself.
He would also benefit greatly from the sparring there with burns limond and many other boxers around his weight
Trainig there or coming for sparring

no offence meant to billy but peter harrison i think would be a good shout. He has experience with his laddie, and took him far.the more i think about it the more riveting it could be!

i know peter currentyl traines the amatuers and cant train pros but it would be agood fighter to come back to the pros for !

if i were his trainer id be looking to go to the gym and work on his faults, everyone knows his good points,he should get quality sparring and loads of pad work which would without doubt improve him as a more complete boxer, what people are forgetting hes only 21 and his better days are in front of him you would hope.good luck to him anyway.

He defintley needs to improve his defence.I think he was unlucky because it was a premature stoppage ,so probably isn't hurt badly physically , maybe just mentally . I still think he's got alot of learning to do but you never know because he's still young .Maybe he might go on to pick up a wbo belt at least one day you never know , he's got about 10 years left ahead of him , or if he looks after himself in between fights maybe longer and better things

Nah he can become an afrobum destroyer for a few years then fail the next time he steps up. He will probably fit into the M Gomez or Carl Johanesson role on these shores of being a good talented guy who entertains but does not have quite what it takes to go to the next level.

IMO i think he's going to be like john murry, who looked great early on but now doesnt look a world beater.

Could be the case mate... but i'd say both Gomez and CJ have more talent then the Scotsman.... He needs to go to a new trainer IMO. Then he has a chance.

:) Myself, Kevin Maree and Mike are already making moves of this nature.... Kevin is massively qualified in Sport and was a former good class amateur boxer, Gomez knows every trick in the book as a fighter.... and if anyone nicks one of our fighters sombreros- i'm the man..

In all seriousness we're taking our time but i'm certain we'll be making waves in the future. We all love the sport and are keen to improve and bring the best out of fighters. Its all about taking the best things from different trainers.... That way we know we're different to everyone else.

Apparently we have the backing of some big names on the scene and the facilities available to us are the best in the country... Its all looking very good.

I am a fan of Carl and I really respect Gomez but I am trying not to give Appleby too much aggro over his recent loss. The kid is ok domestic level. Anyone who thought he could go better are daft.
