Can Atlas really add anything to Povetkin's game?

yes, motivation. which anyone needs if they're gonna take on a klit. despite getting a lot of **** on here, teddy will build up dough boy into taking this fight seriously and giving it 110%

Teddy is prety good about polishing fighters and teaching them a technical based style. Presonally I think he can do prety well with Povetkin and hopefully Teddy gets him in better shape because Alexander is flirting with being another typical heavyweight lardass. He's not there yet, but he's tipping on the border.

I think it's mostly for publicity. He might point out one or two things, but don't expect it to do much.

Atlas sucks. Povetkin is a very well schooled, hard working boxer with a fighter's spirit and good stamina. The problem is that he is small and isn't especially gifted physically. He's better than most current heavies, but his physical attributes compared to a guy like WALD are not even in the same universe

My first thought exactly... If he can do nothing else, Teddy can light a fire under your ass. That can go a long way with a fighter of a certain talent level and temperament. Povetkin could very well be one of those kinds of fighters, who needs a little slap in the face between rounds, Mickey Goldmill-style... God knows he has the talent and the physical tools; maybe a smack between rounds is what this kid needs.

Povetkin is not lacking any technique or style. What he's lacking is self confidence. Atlas can't give him that. Only big wins can.

Povetkin should go out there and fight, not think too much. He's the IBF mandatory and could have fought Wlad already, but for some reason with every Wlad fight he sees Povetkins balls shrink by another size.

Very true. Povetkin is good fighter, but just not ready for Vlad. I hate to see him get hurt in ring.
