Old shot weight drained kovalev had no problems outboxing canelo , beterbiev smashes canelo. Canelo is a better boxer , but beterbiev would be too big and too strong.

 

Canelo does not have 175lbs punching power.

He has middle weight power and has a skill and ring IQ advantage over the 168lb fighters which allows him to be ultra competitive and elite at the division.

Ofc. First: Bet is fighter who does prefer effect of accumulated damage over 1 punch effect on opponents.
2. vs Gvozdyk he initially IRL had managed to slow him down with more than 3 really decent body punches until he had started to manage land more proper head blows on him and had achieved win. Gvozdyk btw was very tough bloke by LHW elite standards.
