Can boxing survive without TBE?

Whenever TBE would fight, it wasn't just a boxing match; it was an event - the whole world would sit up and take notice.

There's no-one in boxing now that can do that.

Chocolatito? No-one is interested in watching midgets.
Canelo? He's creating his own weight division.
GGG? He only did 150,000 PPV's.

Boxing needs a bad guy. Half who purchased TBE's PPV's did so in the hope that they'd watch him lose.

    Come back Floyd :mad::bart

He's The Best Ever for a reason, but the boxing is in good hands

    Spence
    Thurman
    Ward
    Broner
    Usyk
    GGG/Kovalev
    Valdez
    Roman
    Inoue

    But everyone wants TBE back.

The man retired over 50 years ago and died 27 years ago to the day, and boxing still survived.

I guess that's why you put on this thread, on SRR's death date?! :blood

No, because it isn't nearly fluid enough anymore. Boxing is now a desert with no oasis, a beach without an ocean, a pool with no water. The sport has completely dried up and will never be fully hydrated again.

    Can Floyd survive without TUE?

Indeed, according to some a 750 ml iv bag can even bring a person back from the brink of death due to severe dehydration.

and have them compete in a 12 round boxing match straight after..
it's a miracle maker this IV bag thing.
therefore must be celebrated. with every Tuesday being now known as TUEsday and IV bags being gifted to fellow men and women and children.

To think of all the time wasted looking for the fountain of youth, when all along it was the bag of youth we should've been seeking.

Boxing is almost 150 years old and has shown time and time again that it'll continue to move forward even after the best of their eras are done.

1880's- Non Pareil Jack Dempsey, Sullivan
    1890's- Bob Fitzsimmons
    1900's- Joe Gans, Samuel Langford
1910's- Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey (Manassa)
1920's- arguably best era ever with Benny Leonard/Greb/Tunney
1930's- Joe Louis, Henry Armstrong, Tony Canzoneri
    1940's- GOAT SRR, Graziano
1950's- Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Willie Pep, Marciano
    1960's- Ali, Griffith, **** Tiger
    1970's- Duran, Monzon, Ali
    1980's- Fab 4, Tyson
1990's- Jones Jr, Pernell Whitaker, Chavez Sr
    2000's- Floyd and Manny

Boxing has a very deep history of elite fighters that campaigned in every decade. There should be zero reason to think the trend won't continue for this decade and beyond.

You forgot about Canelo. TBE said himself that “Canelo is the future of boxing”.
