Could he improve after Saturday's fight, and become truly great? He's only 23, after all. I personally say no. I would have said yes if this were just one instance of Broner failing to impress when he stepped up, but it's the third. He struggled with PDL and Quintana, who I would not call elite by any means. And Saturday, he struggled with a shopworn, bloated Malignaggi. All this leads me to conclude that Broner isn't NEARLY as good as he/his fans say he is.

He was disappointing vs Malinaggi but he still can be great. He's only 23. It's just appeared to become more unlikely based on his performance at the weekend. He will need improvement only time will tell

I'm not a Broner fan, so don't assess me as such...

But it's quite funny to see everyone declare that a 23 year old who just moved up 2 divisions to capture a belt has no chance of being great!

People are being too hard on the guy after his first fight at the weight. Let him get a couple under his belt and see what happens.
