I think it is unfair on Broner to be compared to Floyd and Cotto. Simply because he gets so much hate from people for it.

He is young and will eventually find his own style but for now what is the problem for trying to fight like the most skilled current fighter?

The only time Cotto looks like that is against no hopers like Jennings.

No. Two totally different styles and approaches. Broner is too defensive minded, for one.

Damn, somebody better get Floyd on the phone quick and tell him he needs to prove himself as the best ever by beating.... Escobedo. :hi:

Let's not get carried away. Cotto today is Broner's father until proven otherwise.

Broner is fighting more and more like the over the hill Floyd jr. with less movement and focuses mainly on counter punching until he hurt his opponent.

**** outta here with that stupid bull****.

Broner is NOT and will NEVER be as good as Cotto.

Top at 135lbs? By doing what exactly? Coming in at 133lbs in a 130lbs title fight and beating an overmatched Escobedo???

Broner was never even the best at 130lbs, that would be Uchiyama. :deal

When has Cotto ever been a legitimate champion? When has he ever been the top ranked fighter at a chosen weight? Never. He never will be and his best performance is a loss in which he won three rounds. You guys throw his name around like he is the second coming of Joe Louis and he is nothing but a glorified contender who has come up short every time he has stepped up. Broner should not compare himself to or aspire to emulate a fighter with less talent than he possesses.
