I'm a fan of Cotto. The truth is simple. He has never been a legitimate champion at any weight. Paper titles don't mean anything except to fan boys. He retires a contender. A terrific contender but a contender nonetheless.

Floyd is also more accurate and makes less mistakes overall. You can say that about every fighter you compare Floyd to. Over all Broner still looks damn good.

Who is Cotto's tough competition Pac and Floyd? We know how that ended. Mayorga and Margarito were completely ****ing shot when he beat them. SSM? Sorry he got gift decision there. Who is his best win? A razor thin win against Clottey? Broner is 22. Look at the pieces of **** Cotto was fighting when he was 22.

Twenty years from now people will remember Cotto. He will be known as a great fighter. On the other hand, Broner will be forgotten like all the other hype jobs.
